We had a very comfortable stay at the Hotel Century Southern Tower in October 2025. The highlights are definitely being on the Airport Limousine Bus route, and the proximity to Shinjuku Station and other smaller stations. Upon our arrival, the room we were assigned smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, despite the facility being entirely non-smoking. We went back down to the desk and they were quick to move us into a different room. The room was dated, but still clean, and the view was wonderful, especially at night. It was also quiet. We utilized the Yamato Transport from the main desk just after check-out, and they were quick and efficient.

I had a wonderful three-night stay during the last week of December. The reception staff were friendly, and housekeeping was satisfactory. The hotel was located on a high floor, so the view was fantastic. However, since I was on the 25th floor facing west, the sunlight was so strong in the late afternoons that I had to close the curtains. If I had been on a higher floor, I would have seen Mount Fuji, but it was blocked by another building, which was a shame.

I visited for breakfast at the end of December 2025. For a 3,800 yen breakfast, I was surprised at the number of dishes. Most of the guests were foreigners, and the buffet mainly featured Western food. The only Japanese food was miso soup and rice accompaniments. I didn't think the curry was particularly tasty. The chef cooked the eggs, but they were a bit soggy. There's always a line at the egg station, and even though there are many chefs, he's cooking alone. The salmon, cheese, homemade banana juice, and homemade jam were delicious. All the male staff were rude. They rarely came to clear the plates, and I don't think there were enough staff in the dining area. I got permission to take the photo from a man with a nearly shaved head.
