Nickels and dime you for everything. 10 euros per night for Internet. Charges for black coffee. I suggest booking elsewhere.

This is a bit difficult to say, as we were there as day visitors. From the friendly initial contact to the transfer and the reception, everything was very pleasant. However, there is a deduction for the so-called "corkage fee"—a corkage charge for drinks brought from home is outrageous. In this heat, you always carry a bottle of water with you. But... okay. I found that... There shouldn't be pressure to spend money. Instead, enticing offers should be used to encourage spending. For example, a "Cool & Lazy Pac" with an iced frappé coffee and a glass of Takamaka Rum spread throughout the day. Unfortunately, prohibitions tend to be more frustrating than helpful. There are two pools, one of which is nicely designed, yes, a private beach, and plenty of sun loungers. There are also spacious and attractive dining areas, etc. But...—and this unfortunately dominates—everything feels cold and impersonal. I can't describe it any other way. There's a lack of harmonious decorative elements, attention to detail, and a connection to nature. Several doors had white "No Trespassing" signs stuck to them. Why not just lock the door instead of putting up "No Trespassing" signs everywhere? That's a "no-go" on such a paradisiacal island! As we walked to the helipad, we passed several bungalows. They were cold here too (at least from the outside). The vegetation was bleakly trimmed, and the ground (next to the paths) was swept clean. When the ground dries out, mulching is much more effective than sweeping. Nature can be so beautiful. Here in the Seychelles, we were truly amazed by the lushness of nature and the variety of flowers everywhere... Don't get me wrong. The staff were always very friendly and accommodating, but the ambiance definitely needs improvement. The potential is there. Even the second pool at the back of the building, while actually quite nice, feels neglected. A construction site with noisy work (next to the second pool) didn't help matters. What a shame.
