The location is excellent. The breakfast is adequate for the culture, but don't expect fresh tea or olives. Service is spotless. The breakfast plates, glasses, and other items were clean. The rooms could have been cleaner; there were some debris on the floors and chairs. There were only hand towels in the bathroom; they sent a body towel when I requested one, and they brought a floor towel the second day. There were no slippers. There are hangers and a safe. The refrigerator in my room vibrated constantly and made a loud noise. My room had a nice view. If people passing by on the street made any noise at night, it was very audible, but it was generally quiet. They also charge a 2 euro daily tourist tax. Because the ground floor is also a restaurant, there's always a smell in the building, but thankfully it didn't linger in the room. The staff were polite and friendly. It was an old and traditional building, a pleasant stay, and had high ceilings. But now I had to mention the negatives. General holiday note: Buy your water from markets like dm billa for 15 cek para. The cheapest one in the places that pass for markets is 50 cek para.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. 100 metres or a 2 minute walk from Prague's old town square. The hotel room was large with high ceilings and the room was made up each day. We slept soundly each night even though our room's window faced onto the busy alley connecting the old town square to the small streets beyond. I saw someone's recent review complaining of the noise and lack of cleanliness. We had the complete opposite experience. The staff were polite and helpful and the atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed. We will be recommending this hotel to friends and families if they decide to visit Prague and we ourselves will stay here again if we return to Prague in the future.
