Chalet Swiss Hotel

We stayed for around 4 nights in this hotel and our stay was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and responsive, Hotel Sauna was great , Breakfast was also very good but with limited options. View from room balcony was amazing. Pet friendly as well .

The hotel has a main building and a new building (see photo). Both buildings have elevators. Bus parking is available (parking fee: 20 francs). Main Building: 100-room banquets are on the 1st floor, 200-room banquets are on the 2nd floor, and 300-room banquets are on the 3rd floor. *No rooms on the ground floor. New Building: 400-room banquets are on the 1st floor, 500-room banquets are on the 2nd floor, and 600-room banquets are on the 3rd floor.

Location: It's less than a 10-minute walk from Interlaken West. This is important for those catching the early morning train. However, the problem is that the road facing the chalet has a fair amount of traffic. Emergency vehicles and even regular cars are audible, perhaps due to the chalet's design. I even worried about my sleep when a car passed by late at night with its engine revving. The hotel seems to be very considerate of this issue, as they provide earplugs in the amenities section. However, with earplugs, you can't sleep on your side and they fall out easily. You can only sleep if you're exhausted and almost pass out. Be prepared for noise. I could hear a baby crying a few rooms away in the middle of the night, and while I was soaking in the bath, I could hear a couple talking from the wall behind my head. I understand that this is unavoidable in a cute, traditional chalet. A quiet environment is a basic requirement. It's a little far, but it's within walking distance of LiDL, so food is readily available. Room The single beds were a little narrow. Maybe I just slept awkwardly, but this was the only time I nearly fell out of a single bed on this trip. I even fell out in my dreams. Also, even though it's winter, the duvets are incredibly small, so make sure to wrap up warm. Amenities The amenities were very comprehensive. They even provided earplugs, shampoo, body wash, bar soap, and even a kettle and teas. There were three towels: one large and one medium, and a foot mat. It's rare to find a hotel with all these amenities in this price range. Bathroom There was a bath. This is also very rare for accommodations in Switzerland at this price range. The hot water came on quickly and had plenty of pressure. It never got cold or anything like that. Breakfast Started at 7:00. It was a simple breakfast: bread, cheese, salami, eggs, yogurt, and a drink. Receptionist The staff were kind and polite. You can choose between water or orange juice when you leave.
