Champlung Sari Villa Ubud

Pool villa was large and clean. Monkeys everywhere throughout resort which was entertaining. Only issue we has was getting turned away for our inclusive breakfast one morning as there were no tables. We came back in 30 minutes and enjoyed a good breakfast.

We stayed in a one-bedroom pool villa for two. Check-in is at Champlung Sari Hotel, and you must set the hotel lobby for Grab reservations and GrabFood. We were given a watermelon lemongrass juice as a welcome drink. The staff always greeted us first. Because it's a pool villa, not a regular hotel, the room was comfortable, and the pool water was clean and nice. They constantly circulate the water in the private pool in the morning, and the lights are beautifully turned on in the evening. The pool is 3 x 8 meters, perfect for two people. The depth is listed as 1.8 meters, but it's actually about 1.5 meters. We had a great time playing in both our private pool and the hotel pool. The water was clean, and the main pool was about the same depth. The shower had warm water, strong water pressure, and two air conditioners, which was nice. The only problem was that the water filter turned black after six showers. There were monkeys occasionally, but they didn't cause any harm. The staff are very helpful, walking around with batons to keep them away. I deducted one star from the location rating because of the monkeys, chickens, and barking dogs outside. The food... while not particularly delicious, it's not bad. The restaurant staff are selectively friendly, perhaps because of reviews, but the staff at the egg station were always friendly. I stayed for three nights for about 130,000 won per night, which I think is very good value for money.
