CHATEAU MONTY SPA RESORT

My friend and I were here for a wellness stay and I have to say that it was really wonderful. We came mainly to relax, switch off our heads and enjoy some peace and quiet – and that is exactly what we got here. The hotel is beautiful, pleasant and has a very nice atmosphere. The wellness treatments were great, we really enjoyed them.. I also have to give a big plus to the food – everything was delicious.. But what makes the whole stay even better is the staff. Everyone was nice and helpful. It is clear that the hotel management is behind this. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we enjoyed it very much and we will definitely be happy to come back here again. 🫶

I'm very well looked after here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The treatments are excellent. And the food is superb. I highly recommend this hotel for relaxation!

The exterior is a bit theatrical and the new clashes with the old architecturally. Those plaster figures around the entrance would definitely benefit from a large-volume waste container. The interiors are a bit funny, those portraits of the nobility and so on... but no offense, they went for the castle style no matter what... why not. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable. We had a small wardrobe in ours. And if you don't stick your head in corners and don't touch where it shouldn't, they are quite clean. The work (and appearance) of the catering team is absolutely brilliant. You won't get bored of the food here, even if you stay here for a month. Always something new and of great quality. The breakfast coffee is what it is. Acceptable to wash down a bun stuck in your throat, but you won't enjoy anything you choose on the machine. True, they would probably spend a fortune on quality coffee. The dining room is quite cold in the morning in winter. I recommend warm socks and a sweater. In the afternoon, there is a free pool. They advertise it as only 27 degrees, but I think they are wrong. I am very cold-hearted, but I have always enjoyed a little swimming. The pool is a little dilapidated, but it is clean and the showers are very nice. I definitely recommend it. The level of spa services (procedures) is variable. Among other things, because communication is a little slow in places. I did not expect language barriers in the Czech Republic, but in the end we enjoyed it quite a bit. They also have modern, luxurious gadgets here, such as the Curadar that deeply warms the joints, or a dry massage tub. We also had a great masseuse. She is skilled, conscientious, but considerate - and she already communicates very well in Czech. Overall, I rate this facility positively. However, I have to admit that I would not pay full price here. We had vouchers that allowed for a significant discount. In comparison (in terms of performance/price), for example, with Bojnice, Monty Spa probably wouldn't hold up.
