The neighborhood is a bit depressing, the cleaning wasn't done during our stay, and the TVs are old; there isn't even Netflix on them.

Overall experience was really very poor and disappointing; definitely not 4-stars service standard! Membership perk is definitely a scam! The membership benefits that were promoted as part of the booking were not honored. The late check-out and complimentary laundry service were clearly stated as perks of the membership benefits; however, neither was fulfilled during the stay. This felt misleading and highly disappointing, as these benefits influenced the decision to book with CapitaLand Ascott Citadines Barbican London. In addition, the young reception team at both check-in and check-out appeared very inexperienced, impolite and unprofessional. The staff seemed unsure of the membership benefits which resulted in the confusion. This lack of professionalism further diminished the overall experience. Was also not informed in person by the reception at check-in about the additional breakfast charges and the weekly housekeeping arrangement. These important details should have been clearly communicated in person at check-in to avoid misunderstandings! Given the multiple service shortcomings by the staff and lack of transparency, regret to say that I would not recommend this accommodation at London nor consider staying at this accommodation in London again in the future! Hope this feedback is taken seriously and the issues raised is reviewed with CapitaLand Ascott Singapore Management to improve the service standards!
