Citadines Confluent Nantes

We stayed for two nights and booked through Staycation. The room's cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the bed sheet was stained, and there was dust in the closet storage and in places on the headboard. There were two holes in the ceiling of the pool, and it's worth noting that the pool is located in the building of the senior living residence next to the hotel. We dealt with two receptionists in the evening who told us that breakfast on January 1st would be from 7:30 am to 11:00 am, as on weekend hours, whereas breakfast is still served from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. It was clear that the information given was inconsistent because the night staff were apparently external. Due to this lack of communication among the hotel staff, we were unable to have breakfast, even though we were there around 10:05 AM. Of course, no one was willing to take responsibility or offer us a solution so we could get something to eat. Despite the situation, we remained calm and polite, while the person in charge of the breakfast room offered no solution and simply tried to shift the blame to the night staff, who they claimed had given us incorrect information. To top it all off, this same person accused us of entering the kitchen, when it was another guest who had entered right in front of us. These are serious and baseless accusations; it's inconceivable. We only received an apology at checkout from the daytime receptionist, who also offered us a tray or something for breakfast, but we declined. Avoid this hotel!

Very negative review – total lack of customer consideration ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had booked a room at this hotel from October 23rd to 25th, 2025 (2 nights), with no cancellation option available — an error on my part, which I fully acknowledge. However, the day before my stay, a major weather alert was issued for Storm Benjamin, which severely impacted Brittany and Nantes. Faced with this exceptional situation, I contacted the hotel to request a cancellation, a postponement, or at least a credit note. 👉 A flat refusal across the board. No flexibility, no gesture of goodwill, no consideration for the circumstances or the safety of the guests. While the hotel honored its pricing and collected payment for the stay, it has definitively lost a potential regular customer, as well as any future recommendations for this establishment and for a stay in Nantes booked through this hotel. A rigid business policy, with no sense of service or customer relations. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

Avoid at all costs! Our stay at the Citadines Confluent in Nantes was extremely disappointing. The accommodation was nothing like the description: the kitchenette was very poorly equipped (insufficient dishes and utensils), there was only one dishwasher tablet for four days, just two coffee capsules, no cups upon arrival, empty soap and shower gel dispensers, and no cleaning supplies despite no scheduled cleaning service. The reception staff, however, were very kind and tried their best to help us, but since the manager was on vacation, nothing could be done. Logically, the reception staff doesn't have the same authority as the manager. To this day, I'm still waiting for a response from him. We chose this aparthotel for its convenience and amenities: in reality, the equipment is barely adequate for one night, let alone a stay of several days. A very poor comparison between the promise and the reality.
