The hotel itself was great, but having to repeatedly call room service for maintenance to fix the AC became a significant inconvenience. We had to take time out of our day multiple times to wait for a technician, which disrupted our plans and overall experience. I understand that unexpected issues can happen, but it’s difficult to overlook when we paid for a room that should be fully functional and comfortable. Unfortunately, the room remained warm and stagnant throughout our stay, and even with the ceiling fans, there was still no fresh, cool air circulating. This made it challenging to relax and enjoy the space the way we expected. We chose this resort based on its reputation for quality and comfort, so we hope this issue is fully resolved before the room is rented out again. Ensuring a properly functioning AC system would greatly improve the guest experience moving forward.

Our vacation was completely ruined by Club Wyndham Vacation Resorts’s deceptive sales tactics. On our first day after check-in, they offered us a $125 gift card or a “free steak meal,” and Uber rides if we attended a 90-minute presentation, but this was our biggest mistake. The salesperson was extremely rude, talked over us, refused to answer any questions, hid all financial information until the very end, and dragged the presentation out to almost 4 hours, even taking us to see rooms and facilities despite us repeatedly saying we had no time. They also charged our credit card $40 on day one, saying we wouldn’t get it refunded unless we stayed until the very end. They wouldn’t allow us to check our phones or research anything about the program. When we declined the timeshare, the salesperson insulted us, saying we “didn’t deserve the program.” Another agent then pressured us into buying the Discovery package by giving false information, claiming it would cost “only $40 a month for 2 years” for 400,000 points, and even saying it was “basically free” so we could try it before committing to a lifelong program with huge maintenance fees. Only after leaving did we realize how many people had the same horrible experience and how much information was hidden. Please don’t fall for the presentation they push on your first day — it’s misleading, high-pressure, emotionally exhausting, and absolutely not worth the stress.
