Breakfast was included in the room rate, so I had it. I was surprised that the side dishes, other than miso soup, okkirikomi, sausage, and salad vegetables, were all so bad. I wonder what standard the seasoning is based on? Which country is it based on? There wasn't even soy sauce. I asked the staff, and they said the hotel doesn't sell it. I tried to change the flavor, but even that wasn't possible. It says it's free, but most business hotels include breakfast these days, and if it's included in the room rate, it's not free. Also, it was a gift for new members, so even when I showed them the email I'd received when I booked, the strong-looking woman at the counter (working in the evening on January 10th) kept blaming the young woman on the floor, who was new to the place, in a bullying manner. I was so scared that I left without accepting the gift. A gift with such a scary price? Even at just 150 yen. The room smelled bad and was too damp to walk barefoot in. It was disgusting.

I just had breakfast! It's free! I was like, "Is it really free?" The mackerel flakes that came with the mixed grain rice were delicious, with a real mackerel flavor. The salad was fresh and the cabbage was delicious! The steamed chicken, too! There were three different dressings, all of which were delicious. The Maebashi-exclusive soup (okkirikomi) was also delicious, but my biggest hit was the apples! They were so good I ate three of them (although it's a pain to peel them myself, so my kids ate them all...). I also had cereal at the end. There were a lot of single diners and ladies, and like me, many of them had seconds. I'd been back to Gunma for my kids' tournament, and I'd definitely like to stay here again next year! The bed was comfortable, the duvet was light and warm, and the shower water pressure was just right, which is often stressful. It was a shame that I couldn't use the cafe space because it was late, but the breakfast venue is the same, so I felt like I could relax. I would have been happy if the curtains opened smoothly at the foot of the room. It's close to the station! Even I couldn't get lost! It's conveniently located right in front of the station. You can also take freshly ground coffee (from a machine) back to your room, which was another big hit for me!

After checking out, I realized I had accidentally thrown something important in the trash and contacted the hotel. They were in the middle of cleaning, but they stopped what they were doing and waited for me. Thank you to the front desk staff and the cleaning staff.
