Everything about this place is fantastic except for one massive flaw: Ebony receptionist is IMMENSELY RUDE. SHE is the reason people say "rude staff". Every other receptionist BUT HER is great. She is the epitome of failing to retain customers via first impression. Interacting with her is a task. She ignores requests and just stays in her phone. Every. Time. Multiple check ins with her, multiple bad experiences. Had convos with my other coworkers and they have had similar exp. Outside that, the place is fantastic. First impressions at a hotel matter. People can choose cheaper spots. This place is a bit more expensive, but we pay it because of what we get service-wise. That's fragile when we don't feel significant at even check in, and only one employee here always makes me feel that way.

We stayed here last night and had a very disappointing experience. We were first assigned Room 139, and after about 30 minutes the heater started making extremely loud noise, making it impossible to sleep. We were traveling with two kids and had just come off a long trip, so rest was our only priority. I went to the front desk, and the staff member apologized and moved us from Room 139 to Room 125. Unfortunately, a few hours after midnight, the heater in the new room also started making loud noise. At that point, we couldn’t sleep at all. I did not want to move rooms again in the middle of the night, we shouldn’t have to test multiple rooms just to get some rest. At checkout, I explained the situation to a different front desk employee, but she showed very little concern. She only offered a 10% refund or suggested that I complain to corporate. Overall, the lack of proper room maintenance and poor customer service made this stay very frustrating. We only needed a quiet place to sleep, and this hotel failed to provide that. I strongly recommend avoiding this location and staying somewhere else.

I really had high hopes coming here because we loved visiting this hotel chain in Arizona. The room was nice but there was a very strong smell that I couldn't get rid of even after leaving the window open all night🙂‍↕️ I couldn't get the heater to work to counter the cold coming in from the window 🙂‍↕️The plug to the bathtub was broken so we couldn't use it. The spa was out of commission. The tv's weren't smart, so you couldn't log into Netflix or other streaming services, only direct tv which offered more commercials and infomercials than anything worth watching. The bedding was light and scratchy. I will say the one thing we looked forward to was the breakfast options. Just like the Arizona location, they offered waffles, eggs, bacon, country potatoes, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, English muffins, toast, butter, syrup, jelly, orange juice, apple juice and coffee. I don't like giving reviews like this. Not sure if we just got unlucky this round, but it was a bit disappointing this time 🙂‍↕️
