Holiday Inn Exp & Sit Hebron – Cincinnati Airport

i requested a specific room and didn’t get it. after i checked in, i went down to tell the guy at the front desk and he didn’t seem to understand. i gave up and just took the room i ended up getting (even though i paid more to get a specific one) they are doing renovations so i let it slide. just figured that even though my booking said a specific room, they’re doing renovations so maybe they didn’t make it clear that i was paying more for one room but got another. i attempted to contact the hotel after just to see if i could get any compensation for paying more for a specific room but didn’t get it. i still haven’t heard back. oh and someone was BANGING on a wall that i heard like every 15 minutes. not the hotels fault but ive stayed at so many hotels and that’s a first. like every 15 minutes or so for hours…anyway, can’t give a true review of the hotel because they were doing renovations everywhere but they had nice pillows and there was an adam sandler marathon on tv so i was okay. just upset by the wrong room and not able to properly communicate with the evening staff and that our room was 84 degrees but it was fine. got to see the wedding singer and billy madison so 2 stars

On memorial day weekend I booked a accessible room and a normal room through this hotel which implied they had a shower chair. When I arrived at the hotel it took us twenty minutes to find a front desk clerk. After we went up to the room and found out that there was no tub bench. We went down to find the clerk again, which took another thirty minutes. I informed him that there was no shower chair, and I wouldn't be able to shower and that we had two children with us who would be using the other room?. I advise the clerk that we wouldn't be able to stay. And he told me that I would be able to get a refund for both rooms. After numerous messages, I was finally able to get somewhat of this issue resolved, but they only refunded one of the rooms. Not only did this ruin my vacation. We also had to cut it short because of lack of funds because they held two hundred dollars for almost a month.

Active construction site that was not disclosed until after we arrived. Their "hot breakfast" is worse than inmates getand served in a take out box. Wifi did not work. Hotel employees turned into ghosts. Call and call the front desk with no answer. Rooms were never turned over during the day. No fresh towels. No towels for pool use. Absurd. Horrible service.
