Connaught Hotel

Place is dumster do not book this hotel! No soundproofing, the rooms are dirty and the place for disabled access was diabolical. Save your money and sleep in your car

Me and a friend need a room same night and every hotel in Wolverhampton besides this one was fully booked. It was £110 And at first looked promising, our room ikwas large but it was clearly two single beds pushed together to make a double, the under sheet kept coming off as wasn't big enough, And you can feel at the edges of each bed as they're sticking up and then they kept coming apart, the worst thing was the room was absolutely freezing and the heating did not work, we had a corridor down to our room from the door where u put key card inn and as soon as it got light the room was flooded with light as there was only an archway between our room and the corridor., Plus you could see straight into another room if got to close to the archway. On top of that there's no internet access, no lights on either side of the bed or even dimmer lights. You could leave on when chatting. It was just the main lights with two switches by the bed, which are bright, we ended up having to keave the bathroom light on ahd door adjar. For £110 a night, I expect a lot more, this is simply a basic budget hotel at best which is double the price of red Wings which offers a lot more. On leaving the hotel this morning. I don't know how I didn't notice all the steps up to the hotel and dangerous as broken. But if you're desperate for hotel and this is the only option then you don't have much choice but by choice I don't advise staying here at that price.

This was my second stay at The Connaught Hotel. If you’re after a budget-friendly place close to the pubs, this hotel will do the job nicely. Although it’s been recently renovated, it could still use a bit more work — the corridors look a little tired and rundown, and while the rooms have had a fresh coat of paint and a few modern touches, they still feel a bit unfinished. On the plus side, the beds are comfy and clean, and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The car park is large and secure, with some rooms overlooking it. Overall, if you just need a clean, comfortable place to rest your head at night, The Connaught Hotel is great value for money. I’ll definitely keep booking here whenever I’m visiting Wolves.
