This was a very disappointing stay, with multiple issues throughout our visit. Firstly, without our permission, staff members moved our sleepwear from the bed and placed it directly on the table. This behaviour felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Secondly, the bathroom had a serious facility issue. The floor drain cover was missing, which caused significant water accumulation after showering. Water spread across the bathroom, creating both hygiene and safety concerns. In addition, the noise level in the room was unacceptable. Our room was located next to the elevator, and the constant elevator noise made it very difficult to rest properly. Furthermore, the management of public areas and breakfast service was extremely disorganised. Despite having already checked in and holding our room number, we were asked to queue outside. There were many people waiting outside while the dining area inside still had empty seats. As a result, we were unable to have breakfast at all that morning, which disrupted our plans for the day. Overall, this property shows clear problems in service standards, facility maintenance, and operational management. The experience fell well below basic accommodation expectations. I would not choose to stay here again and would not recommend it to other travellers.

Stayed in a room on the end with south and west facing windows. The south windows have a lovely view over the lake... thumbs up. The west windows provide massive heat gain from the afternoon sun making the room extremely hot... big thumbs down. This would probably be ok if going to bed late, but needing to sleep before the late summer sunset with a little baby, this caused a big problem with making the room simultaneously an acceptable temperature and suitably dark. As other reviews have noted there is no air-conditioning. The sad thing is for the vast majority of days, a bit of external forced-air ventilation would probably do the trick, even absent full aircon. We did manage to jerry-rig couple of fans blowing air through an open window under a curtain proped slightly away from the wall using a chair. It did the trick but I didn't really enjoy needing to do it. I get it, they probably don't want to do expensive upgrades when accommodation supply around here means they probably fill up anyway. But perhaps some window films to reduce heat gain from west facing windows could be done relatively cheaply? Honestly, this is quite a nice place absent the hot temperature. The bed is comfy and the room was nice and clean with a lovely view. But they've gotta do something about the heat situation, even if it's just investigating some cheaper things...they'd probably get a lot more 5 star reviews from happy customers. (As others have noted, wifi also not great of an evening...would guess based on what it's doing that it's a bufferbloat situation easily fixed with improved router configured by knowledgeable tech. Under a grand. Not a big ask in the budget of a big hotel. Another cheap easy fix. Could literally do it myself.)
