Costa Executive Residences

I love The Costa Nha Trang and I'm writing this review in hopes that management reads this and seriously considers making some changes. I will always give this place a second chance because I have so many great memories here, but there are definitely a lot of issues that need to be addressed. 1) The furniture in the rooms are very very outdated and extremely tacky. When I first checked in and walked into my room I thought I lost 15 years of my life and transported back to 2009. Definitely not what you want to see when you came to relax at a nice ocean front residence. The receptionist was super friendly and arranged for a room change to a much nicer room, but I don't understand why all rooms aren't kept to the same standard? If everyone is paying an equal amount for the residence I think all standards should be kept equally. 2) I don't know if this is just bad luck on my part but for the majority of my 1 month stay there was some construction work being done in the hotel. Of course, it's understandable and they are keeping to the schedule of 9AM-5PM but the noise is really really really bad. Hammers banging and tiles being drilled into for hours everyday. I can tolerate some noise as all hotels need some work done every now and then but I wonder if there's a better way to handle this? You really have to live here to understand, my wife can't hear me talk from the other side of the living room. Basically impossible for me to get any work done or relax during these hours. 3) I saw a few other people complain about the WIFI but I didn't expect the whole system to shut down for 10 hours. At around 10PM the WIFI stopped working (which happens from time to time) so I figured it was another short outage and called reception for some help. They sent someone over and after around 30 minutes of trying informed me that they wouldn't be able to fix it until the next morning. Crazy right? I didn't expect to pay 100USD a night to have no wifi for the night :) Apart from these issues, I always enjoy my stay here and it's really the best place to stay in Nha Trang no matter what you're here for. The location is great, and all the staff are super friendly and speak great english. I just really hope management can wake up and not let the standards drop on a great hotel.
