To future guests and management, To preface, I first stayed at the hotel less than 6 months ago in a single suite and had no issues. I also do not write reviews however since I was unable to speak with the manager, I will place it here. Upon my return for the holidays( 2 queen suite), I was met with sheer dissatisfaction and disrespect by front desk manager Xavier. To fully describe my experience objectively I will notate my experience chronologically. Upon my arrival on 12/31 at 11pm check in was well however I made the mistake of not fully confronting the state of my room head on. In the first room there were stained shower curtains, dirty linen, and trash and dander that could’ve been swept up or vacuumed when cleaned. The following morning on the 1st we discovered old food residue in the complimentary plastic cups and immediately requested a new room. Xavier initially was assistive in these measures however as he altered me to his position, I now question why there was no initiative to formally investigate independently as a business unit. In the second unit, on a separate level, we were met with fecal matter in the toilet, brown markings on pillow cases, comforter, and sheets, and heavy staining on furniture. Upon this we began to investigate other rooming options, this was not possible due to holiday and influx in reservations in other properties. I would like to notate that the property front end manager never offered to refund any portion or communicated regarding cancellation although he did attempt to lie on this note in future conversation. There were witnesses to attest to this. Regardless, after 219 we requested another room for the night, 215, and we (paying guests) would independently reevaluate in the morning. Upon arrival to 215, there was mold in the showers and large staining in the mattress. Due to the hour of day, we chose not to move once again as we did not see the situation getting any better. Upon requesting new sheets and comforter, I requested for cleaning services to come as they were not working full service cleaning due to the holiday. The following morning, today, I went down to the front desk and requested to speak to the manager, who was on site, and was denied this opportunity. Once again, in future conversation the front end manager lied to state “I never said you couldn’t speak to him”. The front end manager felt as if he could handle it independently. While I was able to get the situation resolved after bringing in third party and calling corporate, I do not think management is properly trained to handle situations as such. When asked, after being requested so many room changes, why would you not independently check to see if issues were present? He stated “ It is not my job to go behind and check the rooms after the cleaners”. This as a consumer is unacceptable to hear and I will no longer be staying with this property. The conversations as a whole and his response do not fall under the lines of proper business etiquette Witness of conversation feels as if he was speaking with a demeaning tone and with no respect of me as a customer. He did not listen with intentions to aid but rather to defend. Do not say here if you want to be disappointed. Breakfast may be free but is subpar as best and not worth spending money to be belittled and ignored. There’s a hotel right next door.

Was charges an incidental fee. They had no mini bar in room and no pay per view, so why the charge. The room was clean except for the bathroom vent which was covered. The complimentary hair dryer had the intake so blocked that it was kicking the heat off to stop from overheating. The outlets by the one bed did not work and made charging difficult as alternative outlets had to be found. And I was going to share this when checking out but there was no one behind the counter just a sign stating drop keys in box.

The staff was very warm and friendly. It was a nice getaway 😉 I'd definitely book again🤗
