The Country Villa Estate is simply enchanting. Beautiful rooms furnished with great attention to detail, a truly stunning garden, and two perfect hosts: Mable and Danny have created the perfect bed and breakfast and pampered us for three days. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, Mable and Danny, with a cocktail and felt very comfortable in the villa. Mable conjures up true culinary masterpieces for breakfast – much of it fresh from their fantastic garden. Meanwhile, Danny serves up amazing coffee creations. So pampered and well-nourished, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rotorua over New Year's 2025/2026!

We felt incredibly comfortable at Danny & Marble's and couldn't imagine better hosts. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a sign bearing our names and a small flag. This was followed by a welcome cocktail and a tour of the house. Our Sunflower Suite was amazing; countless thoughtful touches ensured our comfort. Breakfast was not only delicious but also a feast for the eyes, thanks to the beautiful tableware, fresh flowers, lovingly carved fruit salad, and the daily changing breakfast offerings. Danny's brewed coffee was the best I'd had in two weeks in New Zealand. Her garden is perfect for relaxing and taking photos, contributing greatly to a sense of tranquility. The location is ideal for excursions into the volcanic region to see geysers, mud pots, and geothermal attractions, as well as for guided tours, Maori events, or simply unwinding in the Polynesian spa. We're so glad we spent at least four nights here. There's so much more to see in the area. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and I really hope to see you again!
