God forbid you get involved with the management here. We stayed for 4 days, roofers were doing their thing before the snow and our room was in the middle of it the whole stay, shingles hitting our window, the loudest thing you could hear for the whole 4 day stay, I spoke to the front desk who said he would comp me 2 of the 4 days. I said ok and checked out 12 hours early, the next day I saw a charge on my CC showing he had actually CHARGED me for an extra 2 nights. I called and that was dealt with. I asked about my 2 nights and they had forgot about it so I asked to speak to the GM, he will not return calls and is apparently never there. So I called customer support and god forbid you do this and get Bailey or Liliana because they refused to let me send them video proof of the shingles crashing against my window and the tarp that led down my window causing it, they treated me like I was trying to get one over on them? I made it very clear that I didn't want money back, I would be traveling to Wilmington soon again and just wanted what the front desk promised me, 2 comp nights. If they didnt want to do that then please let me talk to the GM if the location (Mr. Christian Jones I believe?) I haven't heard from him the entire time this was going on though I repeatedly asked to speak to him. The Barista downstairs makes a good coffee and the front desk tries their best. Hide nor hoofmark of the GM and no accountability from the Marriot Bonvoy support staff. The pool is nice. The whole leadership and accountability thing really threw me for a loop.
