This was one of the most disturbing hotel experiences my family has ever had. My parents and my elderly grandmother were staying at this property. By 6:00 PM, the room still had not been cleaned. When they politely asked the front desk about it, the situation escalated in a shocking and unprofessional way. The housekeeper became extremely defensive and caused a public scene rather than simply addressing the issue. Instead of de-escalating, management handled the situation in the worst way possible. The staff’s behavior toward my family was hostile, dismissive, and completely unacceptable, especially given that an elderly guest was involved. Ultimately, the hotel used this interaction as a reason to force my family out of the property, by calling the police!! I was baffled! and it was humiliating and incredibly distressing. They lied and were clearly racist! The hotel itself was already in poor condition unclean, poorly maintained, and far below Marriott standards, but the way the staff treated my family is what makes this experience unforgettable. No guest, especially senior guests, should ever be treated this way for asking a simple and reasonable question. We will never stay at this property again, and I strongly caution others to think twice before trusting this location with their time, money, or loved ones.
