Courtyard Lufkin

This is probably the worst hotel, ive ever stayed at. I travel for work for a 2 day stay. I pulled back the shower curtain and the tub was stained yellow, and had strains of hair. I rinse it out and had to hop in. I seen towels hanging before I got in but didnt really pay attention. I got out and grabbed a towel. They were all hand towels. The front desk lady named Barbara called to check on how things were. I informed her ,I had no towels . She offered to bring me. I declined at the time, said I would grab some the following day. When I returned back from work, I ask the front desk for some towels. He came back with about 6 hand towels. He informed me that the dryers were broke and the cleaning crew didn't pick up the towels from the laundry mat yet. My bed was very comfortable, unfortunately one the beds at crumbs and hairs on it. You can tell the very basic cleaning was not even done. There was a neck pillow behind the couch from the previous guest. The floor in the halls on the 3rd floor had pit holes. Every step you take it feels like your going to fall. Definitely do not recommend.

I reserved 2 suites for my little girls 10th birthday party. The hotel was great about accommodating me with 2 rooms that connected, which was great and very much appreciated! The rooms itself where a bit of a disappointment😞 On arrival, was told rooms would be ready at 3, check in time....we arrive, only 1 room is ready, the other will be ready possibly an hour later, which threw decoration plans off, actually alot off. The room that was available, had dead bugs under tables, the pull out bed/couch was covered with stains, nor did it have any towels/rags/anything in the bathroom...also, not sure what was going on, but when trying to watch the tvs...in picture wasn't steady/clear, it continuously flickered, so we decided not to. One of the main reasons we booked this location was because they had an indoor pool & I must say, it was a huge let down. The pool is beyond tiny! It should be labeled as a hot tub. There were no towels stocked when we was at the pool, had to contact the front desk and ask for some to be brought to us... All in all, its somewhere to lay your head at night, but, in my opinion, its way overpriced and overrated for what you actually receive. We've stayed in several suites, and these by far, are the smallest and least taken care of...We will not be visiting this location anymore. Really disappointed😞
