Crown Regency Residences Davao

What at one time must have truly been a great property thats left unmaintained and showing signs of decay throughout. The website boasted its 50's style restaurant thats open all day and night to the tenants. Sadly , its only open from 8am to 3pm with only a few overpriced ,average items to choose from. Your better going out elsewhere. Many issues with the property. No hot water , TV wasnt working , it had to be messed with by staff , then it played only 6 channels and all in Tagalog to choose from. And the AC wasn't large enough to cool their spacious rooms , leaving you sleeping in sweat. With the 1 table provided , well it was damaged so badly your water would tip over atop of it due the its misuse , of others leaning or worse on top of it. Getting the staff to do anything was like pulling teeth, they all acted like it really bothered them to put down their phones to assist you in any way. Very unprofessional , and with attitudes from them. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience at all staying there. With an electrical short that left the entire hotel in the dark on New Years Eve it wasn't a very reassuring place to spend the night at. It's so sad because , their sister companies in Boracay and other places in the Philippines are state of the art. This hotel reminded me of an old horse put out to pasture that everyone forgot about. No maintenance at all being done to fix the deteriorated balcony roofs , or anywhere for that matter etc. etc. Our plumbing underneath the sink was held together with duct tape for Christ's sake. That , with its mold throughout the CR left quit a bad taste in our mouths. All that large space in your room with no place to sit , no refrigerator for keeping anything cold. And no ice available anywhere in the property. Their advertised "Open all day" kitchen had ice , but they wouldn't even allow you in to get any after 3pm. Only good thing was the pool , but beware they say there's a lifeguard on duty. But thats just a sign. No such guard was watching or even present at all. And we were all forced in having to listen to group of young boys screaming at the top of their lungs in the pool all nite . Bothering everyone all damn nite , yet the staff not once came out and told to them to shut the hell up. The list goes on and on about the state of desiree this place actually is in . I would highly recommend searching elsewhere for lodgings , as I will do the Next time in Davao

Stayed at Crown Regency Residences and it was comfortable overall. The place is spacious and convenient, especially if you’re staying for a bit longer. It’s not super fancy, but it’s decent, clean, and does the job. Good option if you want something practical and easy.
