We stayed at Crown for two nights from 5–7th January. While some issues might have been overlooked individually, the number of service failures throughout our stay made the experience disappointing overall. Check-in communication was minimal, and we experienced repeated room key issues even after they were “fixed.” Around the pool, cleanliness and service were lacking—dishes were left uncleared for extended periods, attracting seagulls and creating an unpleasant environment. We understand this is a busy season; however, long wait times combined with poor quality and premium pricing were not acceptable. Our initial drink order took around 25 minutes. When a $25 mojito arrived undrinkable—tasting of pure syrup with no lime/citrus and very little, old brown mint—it had to be remade, bringing the total wait time to approximately 35 minutes. The remade mojito (picture attached below) though improved, was still not excellent and certainly not worth the premium cost. We also tried to walk through the casino to access the restaurants but were denied entry over a supposed dress code issue, despite seeing other patrons in similar attire. The inconsistent enforcement and unprofessional staff remarks left us uncomfortable and prompted us to avoid the casino area entirely. To their credit, a lovely team member at checkout did listen to our experience and compensated some incidental fees, which we appreciated. However, this did not fully offset the overall experience, particularly given Crown’s positioning as a premium destination. Overall, this stay did not reflect the standard we expected.

My sweet Guide-dog and I had the absolute BEST 3-night stay at Crown Towers over NYE. I cannot tell you how sublime the room, how warm the staff, the fun amenities, at Crown Towers, Perth. I can’t wait to come again! The hotel is luxe, warm and accommodating. It was so much fun! Thank you sincerely. The little things and the big things. It was such a wonderful stay for us.
