I stay here few times a year and it's always a pleasure. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet, with great bathrooms and staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Even when tiny things went wrong, they always proactively made things right and offered little something to make up for it, without me even complaining or asking for anything - showing true care for their guests. The location right next to the Nyugati station (no need to carry luggage around the city) and the Westend shopping centre (lots of shops and restaurants available without having to go out) is extremely convenient and with lots of transport options, while at the same time not being too touristy. Great IHG Diamond status recognition too, one truly feels their loyalty is appreciated here. The Club Lounge is basic in terms of catering but very pleasant and features a lovely terrace, making it a great spot to hang out or perhaps have a little aperitif before dinner. The only downside is that the TV has no casting option but as I recently discovered they at least offer Chromecast for rent at the front desk. While this is not the ideal solution and comes with some challenges, it's nice that the hotel does have it covered. Hopefully some future upgrade will see this integrated directly into in-room TVs. As someone who spends most of the year "on the road" and stays at countless hotels, I consider CP Budapest one of my favourite properties and I always return here with a great pleasure. Kudos to the team running this hotel, this is what the word hospitality should mean.

It's not directly on the Danube, granted! But you'll be there in under 20 minutes on foot. And what a warm welcome! Lilla at reception treated us like royalty. I'd also like to mention Gabor and his team at the bar, who were friendly and helpful, and Danna at breakfast, who took excellent care of us. The hotel is renovated, comfortable, and modern. There's a large gym. It's a 4-star hotel. It's a 5-star in my heart. Thank you to the team. I highly recommend it.
