Dear Days Inn Team, Thank you for reaching out with your guest survey invitation regarding my recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Bishop, which concluded on November 4, 2025. While I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback, I regret to inform you that my experience was far from satisfactory, and I would like to elaborate on the reasons for my significant disappointment. My initial impression was negatively impacted by the check-in process. The reliance solely on a kiosk for check-in felt incredibly impersonal and detached. There was no opportunity for a warm welcome, to ask any immediate questions, or to receive helpful information that a human front desk agent typically provides. This lack of a personal touch set a rather unwelcoming tone for my stay. Furthermore, I was very dissatisfied to discover unexpected charges related to my booking through a third-party platform. It appeared as though I was being unfairly burdened with additional costs that seemingly stemmed from the hotel's arrangement with these third-party services. This lack of transparency regarding pricing and the imposition of what felt like an additional fee due to my booking method was a major source of frustration and left me feeling that the pricing was not straightforward. In my opinion, your establishment would greatly benefit from reintroducing a more personal approach to guest interaction. Having an individual available at the front desk, someone who is empowered to resolve issues efficiently and make decisions, is crucial for a positive guest experience. The current system made it difficult to address concerns promptly or to feel valued as a guest. This was my first experience staying at your Bishop location, despite the fact that I visit Bishop frequently, typically 4 to 6 times a year. Given the issues encountered, particularly the impersonal service and the billing discrepancies, I am highly unlikely to choose your hotel for any future stays in the area. I believe these are fundamental aspects of hospitality that need urgent attention to ensure guest satisfaction and retention.
