The hotel is a few miles from downtown, it is clean and affordable. They actually serve a dinner and a breakfast. Two nights dinner was Salisbury steak, cornbread, mashed potatoes, and unbelievably good collard greens. The front desk staff person was very kind and efficient. I'm traveling with my golden retriever It was $20 extra for a pet. I was able to tell them ahead of time that I was traveling with my dog and they had this on my reservation when I arrived. There is a lot of construction people staying at this hotel as far as I can see. I saw the picture of the cute little rooms with the white rocking chairs outside and thought I would be in one of those so that I could sit outside and enjoy the night air. Unfortunately I am in the very back of the hotel with no view and no chairs.

Im here for work. Ill be staying again soon. The boss is paying for it otherwise I wouldnt go anywhere near this place. First room had blood and other bodily fluids on almost every wall and the bathroom and countertops were not remotely clean, but only stayed in that room a couple nights. Next stay was a lot cleaner except the show her and toilet seat and countertops were still dirty just not as bad. No mysterious streaks and gloss on the walls at least. Unfortunately the last room I stayed in did have a major bug problem. Bedbugs and roaches. Hopefully the next stay is better, otherwise im gonna have to tell my boss he's gonna have lose money on the reservation Unfortunately. Btw no refunds for reservations and no discussion about it either. Book at your own risk.
