When we booked the hotel, this hotel still had breakfast. They no longer serve breakfast - just a granola bar and a cup of coffee. We checked in late after a late flight, and the check in attendant was gruff and didn't give us any information. Just took our card and handed us keys. We were given a ridiculously large rental car and parking in the front was full, so we asked if there was parking in the back and we were told to pull around and look. That was it as far as information exchange. The room was...okay. It was clean. But the floor was peeling up in spots, the metal bed edges were sharp and stuck out from the edge of the bed. The bed was comfortable enough. The plugs on one side of the bed didn't work. The phone didn't work, so when our upstairs neighbors showed up at 1:30 am and ran around like a herd of elephants, there was no way to call the front desk and ask them to check on it. Normal walking was loud through these walls but this was way beyond normal walking. VERY thin walls here if you have trouble sleeping with noise. I heard video games through another wall a different night and it didn't seem like the volume was all that loud. We were surprised the next morning to find out there was not breakfast. Again, when we booked, it was still advertised as breakfast, so don't know when that changed, but it was very disappointing. The website advertises "high speed Wifi" - it barely could run a google search and disconnected regularly. I didn't need much more than that, but it's still annoying, and if you need more, you won't get it here. The website also advertises an in-room coffee maker. This did not exist. We had an early flight the last morning we were there and it would have been nice to have. In addition to a disappointing stay, we got home to a $100 dollar charge on our card. We called to ask about it - apparently this is standard for them? They just charge the deposit (not pending, it's fully posted to my credit card) and refund it later? I've never seen this done at any of my hundreds of hotel stays - including other Wyndham properties and Days Inns.
