☹️ - The room was cold, old, and uninviting, and the hygiene was questionable (the toilet smelled strongly of urine upon arrival). - The reception staff were awful; we've rarely felt so unwelcome. - Breakfast would have been good if several guests hadn't coughed all over the buffet... and five minutes before the end of breakfast, new platters of meat and fruit were brought out -??? - I can't comment on the spa area; it was too crowded, and we didn't want to go there. - The massage room (beauty farm) was extremely cold; it's really unpleasant when you're naked on the massage table. - We had to pay for an outdoor parking space that hadn't been cleared of snow. 🙂 - Nice dining room and bar. - Friendly masseuse. - Good price.

We went to the spa as a couple, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it. Not having enough loungers is a complete no-go for a spa. You go there to relax, not to have to sit on chairs. Massages are okay, but that's about it! I could list a few more things, but there's no need to. My conclusion: I wouldn't spend the money again because it's simply not worth it.

We booked the New Year's Eve package. The reception was very friendly. The entrance and restaurant area were beautifully decorated for New Year's Eve. We were offered a welcome drink. Our room on the ground floor (Classic Double Room) was very small and dark. There was a cobweb behind the desk. We found the spider and relocated it. The room is carpeted throughout. The blackout curtains have holes. The balcony table is at least 30 years old. The balcony door is so warped that it lets in a draft. It doesn't close completely. The minibar was completely empty. The bathroom is old, worn, and not very clean (limescale buildup on the shower walls and sink overflow, the hairdryer was yellowed). There isn't a single electrical outlet in the entire bathroom. The massage we booked was good. The food was excellent. The drink prices were overpriced (e.g., a 0.5-liter juice spritzer cost €7.10). The breakfast buffet was adequate, with all the usual items. But nothing special. It lacked... For example, the labels on the jams were confusing. You had to guess what was what. The spa area is relatively small for the size of the hotel. The few loungers were almost always occupied. The saunas were also usually full in the afternoons. The small waterfall wasn't working, and the ice bath was out of order. We found the €6.50 parking fee per day particularly outrageous. We've never paid such an exorbitant fee for an outdoor hotel parking lot. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth, like a rip-off. All in all, the hotel is quite dated and desperately needs a makeover. The hallways and spa area have chipped edges and peeling paint. Our table in the restaurant had the same dried-on glass rings for the entire four days of our stay. We were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, from reception to the waiters/waitresses and service staff, right down to the cleaning staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly. The pictures on the website give a 4-star superior impression, but the reality on site is unfortunately not so good. We will not book this hotel again.
