NOT RECOMMENDED: My family and I had previously stayed here in 2021 so had high expectations! We checked in on 29th December and checked out on 2nd January. The hotel has drastically gone down in many aspects.Check was extremely slow, in took us three hours despite calling and informing the reception of our arrival. When booking we had specified sea facing ground floor rooms; we were allocated second floor rooms facing an ugly construction site which I believe is the abandoned spa! The room had a damp floor throughout which was very uncomfortable. The only plus was the hot water. The meals are boring and lack variety unlike in 2021. Services at the beach bar were also very slow. The Zuri team lack motivation with a lot of repetitive shows. The only interesting highlight during the New Year dinner was the fireworks display; the food had no wide variety. Generally the staff seemed demotivated and the managers totally hands off unlike in 2021 when the managers were engaging with guest on their comfort and stay. A lot needs to happen to improve the service plus major renovations for the dilapidated facilities.
