Dilo Apartments

I booked this property for a four day stay during Thanksgiving break. Our unit is okay for the price, but the building has much to be desired. The check in process was very difficult. I was given information that they would send us an email with our entry code 24 hours prior to check in, but I never received one. Since I booked through a third party, I had to contact them and the resort directly and it took me over an hour of messaging and phone calls to finally receive a confirmation. The phone number provided for the location did not work and I was not provided a direct email for them either. This was very inconvenient because I had to do all of this while I was at a theme park with my family. Upon arrival, the front desk associates are very unfriendly. They do not provide the customer service that most places I have stayed do. For example, they are not welcoming or inviting. When we asked how to do laundry, we were informed that the machine issuing payment cards is out of order. There was no apology or empathy, and when I asked where else we might do laundry or when it might be fixed, they were curt and unhelpful and did not even attempt to help us find alternatives. The pool area has no lighting, so the pool closes at dusk, which is 6pm in November, which is quite early compared with other hotels and properties. All in all, I would not recommend this property and I will not stay here again.

People say a lot, but for the price and the location, it's well worth it. If you want something new and nice, you have to pay. Dilo is from the 1950s; it has the smell of time, and its doors say it all. But room 535 is clean and well-equipped—no complaints. The bed creaked a little, but it has its charm over time. The view is unique. I recommend it. Miami is enchanting.

We stayed in a studio apartment. Everything was absolutely horrible! The first day I saw trash in the bathroom from the previous guests. The bathroom faucet had a disgusting smell. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was only two chairs in a room for four so me and my husband had to stand up or sit on the beds while eating so the kids can sit in the chairs. Asked several times for housekeeping and never came. Please don’t stay in this apartments that go by different names- Boutique apartments, Girasole, Dilo. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing!
