We got married at the Dingle Skellig Hotel in October and it was a 5 star experience! As an American couple unable to visit Dingle before our big day, our planner swiftly recommended The Skellig as the best venue for our purposes. It is no exaggeration to say we fell in love. The Skellig has the pleasant, hospitable atmosphere of an organization staffed entirely by professionals who take great pride in all they do. From Danny to Caren, Edel, Nollaig, and Katie, we were able to immerse ourselves in the magic of our big day because of their attentive, kind demenours at all hours of the day. If you’re planning a wedding and can visit Dingle once or twice before, go directly through The Skellig. Their respected, longstanding reputation across the region connects them to any vendor you might want for your day. We can’t thank The Skellig enough and look forward to returning for anniversaries to come.

I was in the hotel bar Saturday going into Sunday night and the manager on shift around then (11/12) was *extremely* rude to staff. I didnt get his name but im sure he sticks out like a sore thumb to the other colleagues considering everyone else is so nice so i’m sure they’d know who I’m talking about (only thing i remember about him is i think he had an english or aussie accent). So so rude to the staff and it made a downer on the stay, we even left the bar. A gorgeous hotel but I cant justify a high star rating when there is managers running the place like that.
