Fantastic location just few steps away from the Old Town centre, plenty of tram stops to get everywhere in Poznań, two large shopping centres 2-3min walk away, post office, pharmacy and everything you may need during your stay. If you drive, use entrance to the parking from Saint Martin not Podgorna Street, the same for taxis. Breakfasts are great, with good selection of standard and vegetarian options, but the breakfast room is small, so you may need to wait for a table. Rooms are spacious and clean, but quite cold, we had to ask to increase temperature, as the AC panel was broken. You will find good quality toiletries, dressing gowns (although in our room they were all in tiny S size only), slippers, towels, tea and coffee facilities, bottled water and fridge. Reception staff is fantastic, polite, helpful and responsive. Hotel is accessible, there are two lifts to the upper floors, but most rooms are with a bath, so you need to ask before your stay if shower is preferred. We had a nice family stay.

If you want to experience the nightmare of a hotel stay, I recommend the Don Prestige in Poznań. The following unpleasant experiences occurred within a few days: 1. A broken toilet flush 2. Instead of a shower, a bathtub with a surprise: no drain plug 😂 3. Beds in rooms with creaking mattresses and deep depressions 4. The air conditioning didn't work, supplemented by a humming electric heater that turns itself off at will, and the room temperature was 18 degrees Celsius 5. The floors were scratched, stained, and unpleasant 6. The doors—a separate report would suffice, but I'll just mention that they either couldn't be locked or unlocked, the key cards didn't work, and they only locked from the outside with a loud bang that caused the plaster to fall off... The culmination of this nightmare was the incompetent service, the staff failing to fix the problems and their disrespectful attitude towards guests, deepening the chaos. I felt like an INTRUDER in this hotel!!!
