Dormy Inn Kofu Marunouchi

It's about a 10-minute walk from the south exit of Kofu Station. It's located at the Kofu Police Station intersection, so just walk straight down the main street from the station to get there. There's a parking lot, but it can be difficult to find due to the many one-way streets in the area. The price is about the same as other coin parking lots in the area, so parking nearby is also an option. The building is relatively new, so the interior is clean. The facilities and services are the same as other Dormy Inns, so you'll have a comfortable stay. The hot spring is on the 9th floor, and while you can get a bit of a view through the small windows that open, the open-air bath is enclosed, so the view isn't as great. There are indoor and outdoor baths, a tub bath, a sauna, and a cold bath. Both the indoor and outdoor baths are hot springs, about 41 degrees Celsius. The sauna is about 95 degrees, so you'll sweat a lot. The room can fit about 6 people. The cold bath is about 15 degrees Celsius. It's a decent size. I visited on January 2nd, and although Dormy Inn is usually frequented by single guests, there were a lot of families there. It wasn't too noisy, but it was a little rowdy. The late-night noodles also seemed to be constantly crowded. I don't usually know about this, but I didn't eat there this time. There is another Dormy Inn in Kofu, so I'd like to visit that one as well. 😀

There were a lot of free perks for guests, which was great. The room was a little small, but it was clean, and I highly recommend it for these perks, as well as the hot springs. There's a server serving coffee and grape juice in the lobby, and on the hot spring floor on the top floor, they always have free ice cream in the evening and lactic acid bacteria drinks in the morning. I personally recommend the Yonaki Soba ramen, which is only available in the evening, as it's all-you-can-eat and delicious. I also like that they provide cup ramen instead after the regular hours have passed. The staff were polite, the hotel was very clean, and it's reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it.

I stayed here on a business trip. I have stayed at several Dormy Inns in other cities, but this one was particularly great because of the extensive hot springs. The price was also reasonable, and the rooms were spacious and clean, so I would definitely stay here again.
