Imagine a little box of delicious chocolates.... maybe we could eventually compare this stunning Firmdale property as it considering each room as one of the chocolate bonbon because each room tells a story as Kit Kemp loves to say... Nestled in the heart of Marylebone, this magnificent townhouse which has been the first piece of interior design of the ultra talented kit kemp is equally great as all the other adresses of this hotel brand I simply consider as the very best in the world. Yes, rooms are on a smaller side but they've been all fantastically furnished with the signature fabrics Kit and her daughters source and love. It's extremely cozy, perfectly appointed and meticulously maintained and cleaned. Firmdale is the only group I know where you have the feeling of being the first guest if the room and this time at the Dorset Square Hotel, we haven't been surprised of having this great and unique feeling. We've stayed in the most adorable room ever, the Deluxe #104 on first floor with very high ceiling and a window opening on the square, super charming and ultra comfortable, a true pleasure for eyes with a scheme of colors mixing soft orange and soft green tones, so so lovely that leaving the room for a day out was not easy. Bed was as usual top notch just like the excellent bathroom with Rik Rak amenities. For extra comfort, all windows are double glassed to guarantee a perfect morning sleep. We truly loved this room. We also loved the atmosphere of the entrance, the very cute lounge where to relax when enjoying a glass of bubbles from the honesty bar and the restaurant The Potting Shed very special for a nice dinner or just a drink. All common areas are designed with pieces of decor having for theme, the cricket because lords were playing cricket in the opposite square in the past, a nice touch giving a strong identity to the property. On top of it, we absolutely enjoyed the Xmas decoration just irresistible. It was even warmer with all these garlands, xmas trees, crowns... and what to say about the team.... Luca, the very kind GM; Andreas, the so friendly deputy manager and the whole team are doing their utmost to make you feel as good as possible, adding extra little gestures and gift for loyal customers and having all in the mind to make you feel like at home. Definitely our new home away from home when in London... so unique.
