Hotel was great, Located within 5mi of plenty of things to do and not too busy or crowded locally (far enough north from boston to have options during peak hours). Was a short enough drive to Salem, Lynn, and BOS airport to be on the edge of convenience of anything I found myself wanting to do.

Our experience at the Double Tree North Shore was not a favorite. The woman at check in wasn’t overly warm and welcoming - did not offer the signature double tree cookies or any recognition as Hilton honors members - and more importantly, gave zero help in directing us towards our room, which was in a tricky part of the hotel that took us twenty minutes to find. The one bright spot in our stay was an employee we ran into going into a housekeeping closet who walked us to our room when we were lost and frustrated. Walls are paper thin, floors are uncomfortable and uneven, there was an actual spit ball on our Ceiling and there was trash everywhere. Super bummed as we’ve always had great experiences with the Hilton Honors family … until now.
