First the good~ the staff, especially Georgia at the front desk, are great. They earn 5 ⭐️ If traveling with kids, the indoor pool makes this an ideal excellent choice. Room for improvement, the hotel is outdated and needs some TLC. I do not understand how this was rated a 4 star hotel. It is not, clean yes, great staff yes, lounge food was good but need for updates is overdue. DO NOT follow Google Maps for the hotel. With all the construction it is not accurate. You can see the property from 81, but you can’t get there easily. Aim for the intersection of 81 and 33. Look for the Pizza Hut and turn down the little entrance (at a light). May the odds be ever in your favor.

Excellent location centralized by so many places to eat and shops to meander I always keep at the double tree but so far the pool at this location is the best

I stayed here on 3/1/26 and 3/2/26 and I'm not happy with the conditions of the place at all. One elevator out of service while the other sounds like it's going to cave in everytime you're in it. The buffet that's advertised was apparently shut down and now its all ordered off menu. The material on the benches in the lobby and halls are all peeling. My rooms entry light didnt work. The mini fridge was barely below room temp so we can call it not working. There was a screw or something sticking out of the desk chair that I found with the back of my arm. I'm not fancy by any means but this stay was terrible and I don't see me booking at a DoubleTree again in the future.
