The Hilton app didn't work for me to check in, so I needed to wait in line. It was quite a long wait. To make matters worse, there was a problem with their system that wouldn't allow me to check in. I needed to wait an additional 10-15 minutes. Not very happy about that. Was first given an adjoined room with a LOT of chatter from the room next to mine on the corner. I needed to be up before 5 the next morning, so I asked for a room change. They were kind enough to grant me this, of which I was appreciative. The next morning, I made coffee in my room and to my dismay, the coffee cup lid did not fit. I was certainly not going to apply too much pressure, spill, and not only burn myself, but also make a mess! The picture doesn't really show it, but... There was some hanging veneer off of the ceiling entering the elevator space which gave me the opinion that they didn't maintain the place very well. The rooms were nicer that what I've seen in other hotels, so that was refreshing. Upon checking put, the hotel attendent didn't ask me if I was parked in the garage (to leave me one room key), so I was required to complete a form when leaving the garage, even though I had included the parking in my room bill. It was a great thing that I wasn't running behind, or I would've been a little upset.
