Staff and service people were excellent. Hotel is aging and needs refreshing but still nice. The floor lamp in my room was listing about 30 degrees. I thought oh I can tighten the bolt and fix it. Nope, plate at the bottom was broken (should have taken a picture) I suspect the hotel has financial difficulties. Not the Hilton I'm used to and overpriced. I also didn't like waiting for the bar/restaurant to open at 5 pm. Burger I had was...ok. wouldn't order again. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby. Location great, parking was easy, staff very friendly and helpful, I've stayed here several times, I just adjust, like take my own drinks, snacks and breakfast (20 bucks for 2 eggs, 1 meat and toast is more than I can accept).

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Overbooking & Poor Guest Care I stayed at this property after a long international flight with my family, including two young children, and what should have been a smooth arrival turned into a very stressful situation. Upon arrival late at night, we were informed that the hotel had no available rooms due to overbooking. Despite arriving with a confirmed reservation, we were told there was “nothing available” — no room, no proper alternative, and no prior notification. This left us stranded with luggage and exhausted after travel. The front desk offered to help us find another property, but the suggested options were neither comparable nor convenient for our needs. We had to secure last-minute accommodation on our own at additional personal cost (~$1000 USD), which was both financially frustrating and completely avoidable. While the hotel waived the cancellation fee, this does not sufficiently address: • the inconvenience of being turned away at midnight • the stress and exhaustion on my family • the unexpected out-of-pocket expense • the overall poor guest experience For a brand that prides itself on service and reliability, this level of mishandling is unacceptable. I hope management reviews their overbooking policies and improves communication with guests so that others do not face the same disappointment. This experience does not reflect the corporate identity and global standards Hilton claims to uphold. Overbooking may be common practice in the industry, but how a brand handles it defines its integrity. In this case, the handling fell far below expectations. As a frequent international traveler who has trusted Hilton many times, this was deeply disappointing. Unfortunately, after this experience, I am seriously reconsidering whether I will choose Hilton again in the future. I hope management reviews this situation carefully, because no family should go through this after a long journey.

We were looking for a close hotel to the Amerant Areana for a WWE event. It ended up being closer than we thought and also walking distance to their huge mall. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The feather comforters and pillows made it feel like it was on the higher end. We didn't get a chance to go swimming but the pool looked very clean and felt like a nice temperature. We ended up walking back to the hotel after our WWE event and saved money by not needing an Uber to either the mall or the areana. Thank you for a great stay and we would stay here again.
