The friendliness at check-in left much to be desired. The cleanliness of the room, including my room, was in dire need of renovation. The hairdryer was very sticky. The minibar prices were exorbitant. I won't be coming back.

Frankly, I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel I must. I arrived in Munich at 11 PM because my train was delayed and I couldn't catch my connection (it was the last train). So, after trying others, I booked this hotel. I arrived at reception and two men didn't even say hello and left me waiting (I didn't know what they were doing that was so important that they couldn't see a customer). Their English was also very poor, which I found shocking for hotel receptionists. Furthermore, my reservation wasn't registered, even though their website stated that a room was available. In the end, they gave me a room that wasn't worth nearly as much as the one I had booked (much smaller), and without any refund. In short, don't make reservations at this hotel in the evening; they treat you like you're homeless.

Breakfast was good. The room was too dark. The shower was a disaster: downright dangerous. If you were to point the shower head towards the ceiling light, you'd probably get an electric shock. The shower floor was slippery and very cheaply made. The hotel is rather run-down. There weren't enough clothes hangers, and the receptionist had trouble understanding my request. :) But otherwise, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay, with freshly squeezed orange juice, but it's more of a three-star hotel than a four-star.
