As others have said, The Village is overall a place that feels like it’s designed for affluent 20-somethings, and the Drey kind of matches that vibe. It’s definitely upscale in appearance, but like many luxury apartments there are issues when you look past the surface. From a technical perspective my room was fine and I didn’t have any issues, but for what I paid, I just didn’t feel like it was quite worth it. To be fair, I didn’t have time to use any of the amenities because I was in town for one night for work, and those are part of what goes into the “resort fees.” To me, this hotel feels like it lacks real charm and personality—the aesthetic is elevated but kind of…sterile? I find it weird that in my corner room on the top floor, which was an upgrade, there was no art or anything on the walls. Just very clean/minimal. I guess some people are into that, but I don’t know if I would really call this hotel “boutique” and it just feels like the sub-project of the developers who built the apartments in this complex. There is some cool design in the hallways, but for the rooms and overall style I much prefer somewhere like the Hotel ZaZa. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and it is nice that the Buzz and Bustle cafe is right next door—their coffee was amazing and it’s a fun place to chill with a laptop for a bit! As others have said, the parking situation is not immediately clear. I arrived when it was dark and I didn’t realize that I had to go to the parking garage, but once I figured it out it was easy.

Shower pressure was terrible and towels were old and frayed. Disappointed that for a luxury expensive hotel they skimped on these amenities, after a long day of travel to get there, I was expecting a nice shower. Room was clean, staff was friendly.
