Honestly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. 1. When we arrived, we were given a room key. Immediately, it didn’t work. We returned to the office and we were given a key to a different room, which then also didn’t work. The office attendant gave us a new key to the first room provided, and once again it didn’t work. The attendant opened the door and told us we WOULD NOT have access to a working key during our stay. Thank God it was only one night. *We specifically booked a SMOKING ROOM, as advertised on the listing. We were given a room with smoke detectors. 2. Once in our room, it was brutally frigid. No option for climate control other than an air conditioner. We were not in an end unit. 3. Our comforter had cigarette burn holes in it, so at least someone got to have a cigarette. 4. Once we were settled, we wanted a shower. We were delighted at how hot the water was, but this was quickly ruined by the water instantly turning ice cold within seconds. It fluctuated continuously through the five minutes we could tolerate. 5. After shivering our butts off, we reached for towels on the rack. Every. Single. Towel. (Including hand towels) had long strands of black hair in them. Disgusting. 6. Once we managed to suck it up, and pick off the hair in a towel to dry off and go back into our cold room, we turned on the TV to get endless channels of pure static. Nothing. This was an overall unpleasant stay. I paid $87 for a single King, smoking room for a single night. This was a waste of my money and I am beyond disappointed. Skip this and pay the extra for something that actually feels clean to sleep in. I wasn’t expecting perfect, but this was gross. Will NOT be returning.
