I stayed 4 nights at this Econo Lodge, and it was a very unpleasant experience. The room was just okay-okay — average, not great. What really ruined the stay was the owner’s behavior. She is the one who sits at the front desk, and her attitude toward customers is extremely rude. She never smiles, responds with irritation, and gives rude answers with a lot of attitude. It makes you feel unwelcome the moment you walk in. There were also serious privacy concerns. She kept checking the room, and multiple times she opened my door and came inside without permission. One day, I went out to get coffee, and when I returned, she had opened my room door and entered the room while I was gone. Another time, I stepped out briefly, and she opened the door without even knocking. This is a huge invasion of privacy and made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness and hygiene were also ignored. Even though I stayed 4 nights, she did not change the bedsheets even once. She only cleaned the floor. When I asked for fresh towels, she said, “No towels at night”, with a rude tone. A motel that can’t provide towels when needed and doesn’t change sheets in 4 nights is unacceptable. Overall, this place is not professionally run, basic hygiene is ignored, and the owner’s attitude and invasion of privacy are major red flags. I do not recommend booking this motel at all. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

I read through a number of the negative comments about the East Indian counter agent. I, too was inconvenienced by her not having my phone reservation, and not instructing me how to go about paying for my room. When I asked to see her manager, she disappeared to an inner room and I had to call to get her to return. When another traveler arrived, she ignored me and instructed him to use the card reader while I patiently watched. Then, asking if she was sure that I wouldn't be double charged since I had already paid over the phone, I copied what he'd done. All the while I sensed her resentment. Before the other traveler arrived, I decided to patronize her, and commented that she must be having really bad day and I've had those as well. She stated then my room would be upstairs in the back. I understood then that she felt completely victimized by racial profiling. So, I held up a lovely beaded blouse in my luggage, and said isn't this beautiful- it was made in India! And she SMILED!! Let us all think about how we're treating persons who may have honored and privileged pasts as generic dark - skinned immigrants. I will go there again. (Oh, and I believe her that my phone reservation was not in her system; but, though I was double charged, I simply reported it to my bank and they canceled the 1st, higher charge. Both charges, by the way, were higher than this site: I paid $82)

Manager tried too steal money ,after I played for two nights with my card and signed she told me the card was not exsepted ,(but took the money) had to call the police for her to void the payment and transfer money back ,she was irate ,mouthy ,rude ...!!! ITS NOT WORTH THE STAY PLACE NEEDS SHUT DOWN
