I stayed at this hotel a while ago, and unfortunately, one of the staff members crossed the line by talking to my fiancée, taking her phone number and Instagram without any respect. I wrote a review two months ago, and the hotel contacted me, apologizing and claiming they had fired that employee. However, I later found out from a reliable source that this person is still working in the kitchen department. I felt very disappointed because I trusted the hotel’s response. The resort is beautifully situated in the mountains – built right into the mountains. This means lots of stairs and long walks. Unfortunately, service isn't a priority – the staff doesn't seem to understand the concept. It appears they've hired people who may have previously worked in agriculture. No one speaks proper English, German, Russian, or even Egyptian. The "food" is very good, but you have to eat your meals (you have to clean your own table and provide your own dishes...) in temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius. With an outside temperature of over 33 degrees, this is brutal. We felt like a nuisance. The rooms aren't clean. Our bed needed to be remade, and there were still hairs and traces of the previous guests. However, our room attendant (after receiving something from us) was very helpful. There are no shops on the premises, and they've clearly taken the "all-inclusive" aspect very seriously. Drinks aren't always available, and not everything is offered. It's just whatever the resort happens to have in the fridge. And many things were often unavailable. The resort is located well outside the city, so there's no way to be self-sufficient... (All Inclusive...). We've never experienced anything like this in Egypt or anywhere else... Our headline would be: not holidays, but horror days – never again. We don't understand how the positive reviews came about...
