Excellent location, especially close to the train station and the city center; it's a very easy walk. No noise at all, which is also a big plus. Our room faced the back of the building, not the main street, so that was good. The facilities were okay, in line with the price. There was central heating; it was incredibly hot the first day, but I think they regulated it better afterward. However, the thermostat was in the hallway, which is a bit odd because someone could easily change it. The policy of having to leave your room key at reception every time you leave and ask for it again when you arrive is a bit strange, especially without any identification. I imagine it's to prevent tourists from losing their keys, but anyone could just walk in, ask for a room key, and enter—very odd. Like in other places, the room isn't completely dark for sleeping; light comes in through the windows, but we've had that problem in several other places too.

Excellent beds, very comfortable, very comfortable bathrooms, the place is very nice and easily accessible, the service from the staff is excellent, highly highly recommended, just a few blocks from the central market.

It's not one of the most modern hotels in Florence, but the price-quality ratio is excellent. Inside, the hotel is quite well-maintained, with a very comfortable room and shower. Street noise is barely noticeable, and the location is superb, close to the city center and Firenze Novella train station. Breakfast wasn't an option when we stayed (November 2025), but I appreciated that they lent us an electric kettle to heat water for mate. They charge a €6 tourist tax per person per night, payable in cash only. Finally, I would suggest improving the staff's service, as, with the exception of the young man who lent us the electric kettle in the afternoon, everyone else was always in a bad mood.
