Budget hotel but really comfortable, clean, secure and quiet inside despite the location just next to big road. Easily walkable, no need to cross street (5-10 min) to the hustle and bustle of Myeongdong, airport bus, trains. And there is a bus stop just across the road too. I love that they provide water dispenser at each level. The only con is the small room -couldnt even open our luggages completely and no closet, but that justifies the price. I don’t mind staying here if i need to visit Seoul again!

Misleading Photos & Poor Room - A Very Disappointing Stay I stayed at Ehwa In Myeongdong for 4 nights and was deeply disappointed. I booked a triple room based on the attractive photos on Agoda, but the actual room was completely different. The room we received felt like a cramped, low-ceilinged attic. It was filled with obstructive pillars and beams, making the already small space even more confined. Despite being only 1.6m tall, I hit my head on the beams and the TV multiple times, forcing me to be constantly cautious when moving around. The window was partially blocked by an interior wall, and we had to bend down to look outside, which felt like being in a prison. The bathroom was disproportionately large, almost the same size as the room itself, which was unnecessary. While I understand that not all bathrooms are wet/dry separated, the flooding after every shower was unacceptable. We had to use a water squeegee to clear the floor every single time; otherwise, it would be completely flooded. Furthermore, the hotel offers zero service. Our trash was not taken out once during our 4-night stay. After checkout, when we asked to leave our luggage, they simply told us to leave it in an unsupervised corner of the lobby. We had to handwrite and attach our own luggage tags, with no staff supervision, which was very worrying. An additional hygiene concern was the drinking water. There was no kettle in the room, only a water dispenser connected to an open, lidless water bottle, which is unsanitary as insects could easily get in. This triple room is a complete misrepresentation. If they had shown the real pictures, I would never have booked this hotel. I will definitely not be staying here on my next trip to Seoul.
