We received a very friendly welcome at reception. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby. The hotel room was very clean and a good size. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices.

We stayed there for three days over Christmas. We really enjoyed it. The hotel is located right in the city center. A parking garage is a three-minute walk away. The rooms were lovely, the staff very attentive, and the breakfast was varied. What more could you want? We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. Our room was very dirty upon arrival: toothpaste residue from the previous guest was still on the toothbrush holder, the shower door was heavily soiled, there was hair in the shower, and the floor was generally filthy. We understand that this is a budget hotel, but a minimum level of hygiene should be a given. What was particularly disappointing was that all four rooms we booked had similar hygiene issues – so it wasn't an isolated incident (we have additional photos). The service at reception was mostly unfriendly. Only the receptionist on the day of our arrival was friendly and helpful; we found all the other staff members distant and rude. There was rarely, if ever, a greeting, neither at reception nor in the hallways, which we found very unpleasant. Inexpensive doesn't mean that cleanliness and friendliness can be neglected. In our opinion, there is significant room for improvement here. In addition, the billing was incorrect. The clearly communicated notice beforehand that guests would be paying for their own meals was ignored, which subsequently led to unnecessary hassle and frustration. Breakfast was okay – you can't expect more for the price. The location was, of course, excellent!
