I was ADA guest at this hotel (10-2025) who came in early-about a week and a half to make sure they could accommodate me for my sensory/seizure disorder. The guy at the front desk was really kind. We picked a room on the top floor because I can’t have sounds above me and needed a spot that was supposed to be nice and quiet. We chose the room and he made notes so nobody could take the room from me because I’m ADA. And assured me that it will be quiet and at the room will be there when I arrive. When I arrived, they informed me the people whose reservations ended- extended their stay, and they allowed them to keep the room. I said their reservations ended and mine began. That room was reserved and not just for fun, it was because of my disability. If they were going to stay, they needed to be moved and let them know that room is already reserved. But none of that happened nor did they informed me that the room was taken before my arrival. They just allowed their stay and deleted the notes. So I was placed in a new room, no phone in the room, pubic hair all over the floor, the toilet, the top of the toilet and pink mold in the shower. It was disgusting. I went back downstairs informed him of how disgusting the room was, and I was now put down on the second floor, where people would be above me, and I and they knew it would be a problem though he assured me, I would not hear anyone above me and that was not true, you hear everything. At this point, I can’t switch hotels because I haven’t scouted anything and my event was supposed to be starting the next morning. So I trusted him and stayed on the second floor Apparently on Thursday is the trash trucks come at 5 o’clock in the morning, scares you awake and if you’re me, you get to have seizures. I called down on my cell phone asked what was going on. Explain to him, it caused me to seizure and informed him that I was going to have another seizure and he told me to pack my stuff and he would move me to a small smaller room. I said I’m getting ready to have another seizure. I can feel its coming on. He said yeah grab your stuff. I’ll put you in a different room. It’s just smaller. I hung up, and never once did he ask if I need medical, no one checked on me- nothing. Thankfully other people from the event stayed there so people brought me food and earplugs, but I miss the first day and a half almost 2 whole days of my event that I paid for and had two seizures because of their negligence for ADA guest. This is an ongoing issue with this hotel chain it seems, now that I’ve looked into things- so if you have any disability, I do not recommend staying here. How they have as many stars as they do I don’t know because that bathroom was vile and disgusting. But for management to treat me like they did, and just dismiss my disabilities as if they’re nothing? This hotel needs new management and new staff. They need staff that actually care about their guests, and if someone has an ADA, they need to make sure there is a phone in that room and that there needs are met. And if they can’t accommodate, they need to say so up front and not lie to you and then dismiss you like oh well, so sorry that your ADA reservations were just dismissed and zero notice. There is also an airport super close so you hear airplanes taken off left and right. So if you want actual rest, or if you are an ADA, or don’t want pubic hair all over your bathroom, I would choose someplace else to stay cause this place is not it.
