Embassy Suites by Hilton Boca Raton

When I checked into the room a little after 2 am, I noticed a strong musty odor in the room, but I was too tired to do anything about it at that late hour. The next morning, I had become accustomed to the smell. When I returned from dinner that evening, the smell had worsened dramatically. I opened the window to the balcony but was overwhelmed by the putrid smell coming from the roof just below my room. There was a tremendous amount of trash and rotting organic matter trapped in that area. I contacted my company since they had booked the room and asked them to relocate me to another hotel. They moved me the next day and I will be asking them not to place any more crewmembers at this hotel.

All of the staff was amazing, accommodating and always seemed ready to help. The hotel itself was pretty incredible except for one thing. There were roaches in my room. One in the kitchen area, another smaller one in the shower and yet another one I found crawling in the living area. Maybe it was the same one :/ but I don’t think so. It’s pretty hard to get rid of these cockroaches in such a big building g with plenty of places for them to hide. Everything said, I’d still stay again. The lobby was awesome and the breakfast is good. The room was clean but outdated, although they plan to renovate the rooms this summer according to a sign they had up in the lobby. The actually cleaned our room each day, which can’t be said of other properties, so that was nice. I would stay here again.
