Bryant was a wonderful host. He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our room was spacious overlooking the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati skyline. What a marvelous sight each night & morning. Definitely the star of our stay. Breakfast at any ES is unmatched. Who can pass up a made to order omelet bar? Not me. Many breakfast options. Staff worked diligently to ensure items were topped off, hot & fresh. Did I mention there was seating inside the breakfast area overlooking the Ohio River? Very pleasant to enjoy breakfast overlooking the river. Happy hour!!! Where else are you going to stay that offers a free happy hour? Drinks & tasty snacks. Again, ES is unmatched. You're going to pay for parking but it's plentiful, covered & connects to the hotel. Just remember to keep up with those parking tickets & get them validated at the lobby desk. One complaint... The room we stayed in seemingly had an issue with extra moisture. There was a noticeable smell when we entered. I always carry air neutralized so I went crazy with it. Unfortunately, it didn't help too much. The front desk offered to have housekeeping spray but when I asked the housekeeper; she mentioned she didn't have any spray. If you happen to stay in I'm 429, bring plenty of spray, maybe some baking some (absorb moisture) and just enjoy that wonderful view. One more thing...the bathrooms are a little dated. That shower can be tricky. No bother, just enjoy that view.

Our stay here was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. When we first arrived and were unloading our bags at the front entrance, we were immediately approached by a homeless man asking us for money. This made the arrival feel uncomfortable and unsafe before we even stepped inside. Once inside the lobby, things did not improve. While taking the elevator up to our room, we were accompanied by a man who appeared to be a cross-dressing prostitute leaving someone’s room. The elevator itself smelled strongly like cigarettes. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was even worse. As soon as we entered, there was a very strong odor of mold and mildew throughout the entire room. When we pulled out the sofa bed we discovered blood stains on the mattress. The king bed was also unacceptable — the fitted sheet had smears on it, it was covered in hair, and we even found a dead insect in the bed. The bathroom also had a strong mold odor, and the carpet in the room was visibly dirty with crumbs and hair everywhere. We immediately reported the condition of the room to the front desk. To their credit, they offered us a second room, but unfortunately it was just as bad. The cleanliness and odor issues were still present and the condition was completely unacceptable for a hotel charging these prices. Because of this, we made the decision to leave the property entirely and find another hotel immediately after checking in. No guest should have to deal with conditions like this. This hotel seriously needs to address cleanliness, maintenance, and overall property management. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here.
