Beware of calling the hotel after hours. I was stuck in Philadelphia airport and needed a hotel for my family after 12 midnight. You cannot book online in that case, because it defaults to the next day. The call was answered by a 3rd party service rather than the front desk even though I called the local number. My husband and I were both calling different hotels simultaneously bc there was very little availability and it was late. The person answering wanted my credit card info even though I wanted to wait to see if there was a shuttle that could pick us up before booking. He insisted "your card will not be charged until you check in", then transferred me to the front desk to inquire about the shuttle. No one ever answered. After waiting a very long time I finally hung up without talking to anyone. In my email I now had a confirmation of the booking which I didn't realize had been finalized. There was no way to cancel because the print at the bottom of the email said no cancellations after 3 days before (give or take -can't remember). So basically if you're making a last minute reservation there is no such thing as cancelling. My husband got another hotel at the same time. I stupidly thought I could rely on what the phone dispatcher said and I wouldn't get charged if we didn't check in. Obviously that didn't happen. I got charged for the 2 rooms. To shorten I will say, between the front office and corporate number I was never able to get a refund. If you have any authority over this hotel and are reading this, please think about the position of a guest here. I got charged over $500 for 2 rooms I didn't stay in when we were in a total bind with children and elderly parents. There was no expense on the part of the hotel because no one stayed there and it didn't need to be cleaned. You can make strict policies about cancelling but this is a great example of how it plays out in real life. If you want to save a few bucks by having an international answering service book these rooms after hours, you run the risk of them saying anything to customers to make the sale, and then don't stand by the customer in their very expensive mistake. The funny thing is that we actually stayed in another brand owned by Hilton, but apparently the Hilton brand still getting our money from that didn't help our case either. It's an unfair way to do business.

The heat didn’t work. Nothing happened when I turned up the thermostat. The window was drafty and it was in 20s outside. I called the front desk and nobody answered or called me back. The coffee machine didn’t work. The omelets for breakfast were good.

State at this hotel overnight prior to leaving on a trip out of Philadelphia the next morning. The front desk staff in this hotel was amazing, but we were very troubled. When we pulled up via taxi to the hotel to find how dark the hotel, even the entrance is not lit up. The only thing bright in the hotel is the area behind the front desk service in the restaurant was a second-rate as there was no one to cede us. No one told us to take our own table and we had to go find someplace to place our order. And let somebody bring our food out. The hotel is very dark and not well-lit. I have never felt unsafe in a hotel. Corridor traveling as many years as I have as I did in this hotel.This is a one and done for us.Never again.There are plenty of other great options around the philadelphia airport area.I would choose one over this hotel
