This is a beautiful hotel. Everything is clean and crisp. The room was wonderful. Every encounter with an employee was excellent. Everyone was kind, helpful, and personable. The nightly cocktails were much appreciated, especially after a long flight. The hotel itself is beautiful and beautifully decorated.

Terrible! DO NOT STAY. I was in Phoenix for a conference in November. Before heading to dinner I ran by the hotel room to change, and when I was in the bedroom I heard loud gurgling coming from the bathroom and the prep sink by the door. The sound was emanating from all of the plumbing. Without touching the toilet, it began to overflow (clean water). I called the front desk - they said maintenance would come right up. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to leave for dinner. I stopped by the front desk and reiterated it was an emergency. Approximately 5 hours later, I get back to my room and the bathroom floor is soaking wet and there is a terrible smell. The bathtub had completely filled with excrement and was about to overflow. The hotel moved me in the middle of the night with little more than "sorry". Terrible customer service. There was no attempt to make the absolutely disgusting situation right.

Recently did a ghost hunt in a colleagues room we just got kicked ou5 of the Renaissance downtown we were caught after hours on Friday night. We decided to do a hunt at embassy using a spirit box, rem pod, and we did the Estes in there room. We didn't record it our systems that were all at 100% batteries all showed dead when we finished and when you tried to replay we had nothing which was weird anyways We were quiet so I think that's why we didn't get kicked out of this hotel and we did hear very strange noises coming out of our spirit box. There were words but we heard what sounded like a man and a female talking almost arguing we took our headphones off and tried to find the source but we couldn't this was on the 11th floor. Our intuitive said she had seen a young female very sad at the balcony. She couldn't make out distinct features or why she was there. Rem pod was lighting up like a xmas tree we had to watch it since we the volume down during quiet hours so we prolly missed some hits. When we got into there room we felt a chill breeze near the wetbar. Heat was on and no draft was coming in. We walked into the bedroom and bathroom and it was at temperature. The spirit box then said welcome to the Hilton. We then heard two people talking again on the spirit box. We then did the Estes method and reached a spirit that might have been native american. It said im apache, get off our sacred lands no this is bad lands. Then nothing. We then ended it Don't know what to make of it weird how all of our recording equipment failed, our intuitive saw that lady and at the end we get what seems like a native spirit idk. Interesting hotel did fell like something was here
